Tillamook County General Hospital's fifth annual TCGH Classic Golf Benefit will take place Sunday, September 19, 2010, at Bay Breeze Golf Course in Tillamook, Oregon. This fun community event, including lunch and a putting contest, is geared for players of all ages and skill levels.

Proceeds raised through tournament sponsorship and player dollars support important health care programs of the hospital that benefit our community. Cumulative net proceeds from past tournaments have financially supported projects including the new CT imaging system, Ambulance & Emergency department services, MRI diagnostic imaging enhancements, upgrades for the SimMan computerized patient simulator, and enhanced fetal monitoring and care for babies being born.

This year's proceeds will help to enhance the simulation education center through purchase of a computerized and interactive baby manikin that nursing students and clinical staff can use to practice life-saving skills.
