Hospital Hosts Week of Spiritual Emphasis April 14-17

In chapter 5 of the Gospel of Matthew, Jesus offers blessings to several categories of individuals:

• Blessed are the poor in spirit . . .
• Blessed are those who mourn . . .
• Blessed are the meek . . .
• Blessed are those who hunger and thirst . . .
• Blessed are the merciful . . .
• Blessed are the pure in heart . . .
• Blessed are the peacemakers . . .
• Blessed are those who are persecuted . . .
• Blessed are you when . . .

Hospital Chaplain, Danny Parada, invites staff, volunteers, and those seeking God's blessing to come to the lunchtime presentations by area pastors during the week of April 14-17, 2008. The two identical daily sessions, one beginning at 11:00 am and the second beginning at noon, will be held in the 3rd floor conference rooms.

April 15: "Three Keys to Unlock the Door" -- Pastor Mary Kasemeier, Living Water Fellowship; music by Michael Gabel

April 16: "The Goodness of God" -- Pastor Scott Lerwick, First Christian Church; music by the Hooley-Bauder Quartet

April 17: "The Nearness of Your Savior" -- Pastor Danny Parada, TCGH Pastoral Care; music by the TCGH Quartet
