10th Annual Walk of Faith to Benefit Respite Care (8/16/2010)
Walkers of all ages and their dogs will be stepping out on behalf of Faith in Action at the Walk of Faith on Sunday, August 22, 2010. Featuring a luau theme to celebrate its tenth anniversary, this two-mile walk in support of the respite care ministry of Faith in Action starts at Tillamook County General Hospital at 3 pm. A water break and blessing of the canine walkers will be available at St. Albans Episcopal Church along the route. A reception at the Tillamook United Methodist Church ends the walk.
Pertussis: A Vaccination Could Save a Baby's Life (7/28/2010)
The only way to protect children younger than 6 months is to immunize the adults around them from the disease. A parent is implicated in about 25% of infant pertussis cases, and in most of those cases the mother is the source of infection.

Tillamook County General Hospital (TCGH) recently received eleven awards based on the results of the 2010 PRC Medical Staff Perception Study, a national survey directed to health care professionals. The findings show how physicians and providers view the hospital in terms of overall quality of care and as a place to practice medicine.
