Tillamook County General Hospital was pleased to donate a vegetarian entree, Boston Nut Loaf, for the Tillamook Lions Club 59th Annual Roast Beef Dinner, held this past Thursday, January 21, 2010. Proceeds from this annual fundraising dinner are used by the Tillamook Lion Club to provide financial assistance for local residents to obtain vision exams with glasses as needed and hearing exams with hearing aids as needed.

"This contribution by the hospital to the Tillamook Lions Club makes it easier for those in our community who like to support community events and choose to eat a vegetarian diet to participate in our annual dinner," states Tim Hayes, a Tillamook Lions Club member. "The club received several comments of appreciation from people at the dinner who thanked us for having this nut loaf entree and said it was very delicious."
