Speech therapy is the study of speech, language, voice, cognitive and swallowing problems. Through therapy, the problem is identified and a treatment plan is developed. If you or a loved one has one of the following problems listed below, speech therapy may help.
Speech problems:

Cognitive problems:
- Difficulty with thinking skills that allow us to communicate effectively

- Children having difficulty in school may have cognitive problems
- Recent problems with memory may also be caused by a cognitive impairment.
Swallowing problems:
- Difficulty chewing
- Pocketing food in the mouth
- Getting the food down or coughing and choking when you eat or drink
