Volunteer

Volunteers at Tillamook Hospital are a vital part of the hospital's team.  Our volunteers have an outstanding reputation for providing quality service to the physicians, staff, patients, families, and visitors of Tillamook Hospital. To date, the adult program consists of 35 adult volunteers and 10 teen volunteers, serving in a multitude of areas including, but not limited to:

• Patient Support - Med/Surg
• Patient Transport and Discharge
• Delivery and Mail Run
• Clerical and other support to various departments
• Blood Pressure Clinic
• Outpatient Surgery Liaison
• Outpatient Therapy Services
• Patient Chart Assembly

Volunteers are very important to our hospital, and, upon acceptance to the program, are provided with an orientation, service-specific orientation and training, a uniform and name badge, specific volunteer benefits, and a warm and caring environment where your time and talents are appreciated.
