Job Function Analysis and Pre-Work Screening
Job Function Analysis identifies the physical and functional aspects of a specific job. It utilizes employer and employee input to determine the essential job functions. It identifies the critical demands of a job that include recommendations to improve safety and performance. A job function analysis is performed at the place of employment and involves specific measurement of each job position and the tasks involved. Once the job function analysis has been performed a pre-work screening tool is developed and tested on current employees to validate it's accuracy. Pre-work screenings are performed using either an employer's current job function/task list or a screening tool developed by our skilled therapists following completion of a job function analysis.

Functional Capacity Evaluations
Functional Capacity Evaluations provide an accurate assessment of a persons ability and capability to perform work related activities safely. This is a two day test requiring three hours each day of testing. Components of the evaluation include strength, endurance, material handling, posture, flexibility, cardio vascular fitness, coordination, and repetitive movements.

Work Conditioning
TCGH also offers Work Rehabilitation. This is a goal oriented, individualized treatment program that is designed to maximize a worker's ability to return to work. This treatment utilizes real or simulated work activities combined with physical conditioning tasks to assist the worker in returning to work in a functional capacity. These concepts are designed to meet functional, physical, behavioral and vocational needs, to aide employees in performing their job duties safely.
